What is The Creative Leadership Forum?
The Creative Leadership Forum is a one-day convening designed to help dance nonprofit organizations strengthen the operational foundation that supports their artistic work. Hosted by Alpha Wealth Foundation, the Forum brings together leaders from across Utah to gain practical tools, refine how they communicate their impact, and connect with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges. The event will take place at kiln. in Lehi, providing an inspiring, professional environment for learning, conversation, and collaboration.
Each participating organization is invited to send up to two leaders, with priority given to those most involved in the organization’s operational health and sustainability. Please register attendees in the following order of priority:
Executive Director
Development Director
Board Members
Other operational or administrative staff
If individuals in these roles are not available, Artistic Directors are still welcome and will benefit from the experience, though the primary focus of the Forum is on organizational clarity, communication, fundraising readiness, and operational strength rather than artistic direction.
The Forum will include:
Presentations from three experienced keynote speakers
Breakout group discussions with peer leaders
Hands-on interactive activities designed to clarify messaging and strengthen organizational positioning
Opportunities for meaningful connection with fellow arts leaders
Dinner provided for all participants
This event is completely free for approved and registered organizations, as part of Alpha Wealth Foundation’s commitment to investing in the long-term strength and sustainability of Utah’s dance ecosystem. The Foundation believes that thriving arts organizations require not only artistic excellence, but also clear leadership, strong infrastructure, and the ability to communicate their value and impact.
